JOHNNY

JOHNNY
 
He was born in a broken home and ended up on the street.
He joined a local gang composed of hoodlums, thugs and cheats!
 
He robbed stores at gun point and sometimes with a knife!
And many nights he lay awake and cried over his life of evil and strife!
 
No one had ever loved him since the day that he was born!
That made him very bitter and filled him up with scorn!
 
One day he stopped a woman to rob her of her goods!
She was different than all the others as she "fearlessly" before him stood!
 
He saw love in her eyes and felt it in her voice!
She said, "I was sent to you today because you must make a choice"!
 
She said, "Time for you is running out, Satan wants your soul!
"Today you must decide if you want to walk on Heaven's streets of gold"!
 
She said, " Jesus loves you though you don't know Him at all"!
"He is reaching out to you now, can you feel His voice and His call"?
 
The little woman took Johnny by the hand and lead him in the Sinner's Prayer!
He got down on his knees and God saved Johnny right then and there!
 
He cried and many tears ran down his face!
As he was saved by God's amazing grace!
 
When he looked up, the little woman was nowhere to be found!
When Johnny got up he was Born Again and spiritually sound!
 
Johnny is a street preacher now and he preaches with all his heart and soul!
Leading lost souls to Jesus is now Johnny's primary goal!
