A City Over Yonder "song"

There is a city over yonder
Not made with human hands
I long to go there some sweet day.

So I'll fast and I'll pray
And I'll read God's word each day
And some day some sweet day I will.

It is a city oh so splendid!
Mere words could never tell
Of the beauty and the glory!
Of this city where God dwells!

In this city there is no darkness
For Jesus is the Light!
And His Glory is ever present
To keep Heaven shining bright!

In this city there is no sorrow
And everyone there shall wear a smile
And the things I suffer in this life
Will be over in a little while!

I have a Grandpa and Dad there
And I'll see them face-to-face
And we'll rejoice for all Eternity
Over how God saved us by His Grace!

There is a City over yonder!
