Struggling against

Rulers

Powers

World forces of darkness

Spiritual forces of wickedness

In the heavenly places

When did this battle begin?

Fallen ones, who lie for control

At one time came to the daughters of men

Evil and wickedness multiplied

All but eight humans washed away

Yet the breath of evil did not die

Lord, You warned Your people

But they made a choice

They intermingled with the fallen, at first unaware

Practiced and preformed what was evil

Serving idols became a snare

Dark voices engouraging unspeakable acts

Hearts open to corruption

They began to bow to a new god

Indulging whatsoever they asked

A demon who fills a humans lust

Blood of a son or daughter

Dying for an idol made by hands they did trust

Minds dulled, following what the world will afford

A heavy dark influence

Causing them to forsake You, Lord

Blood of infants polluted the land

Other gods revealing themselves, wanting prayers

gods not know before by the forefathers of man

High places, the honor of baal and molech is shared

Named demons, fighting to rule

Forms of worship You never commanded or even spoke of

Ideas to throw children into fire

Never entered Your heart of love

This darkness is rebellion

It's offspring whispering to millions

Burning hearts of evil, prostrated among the oaks

Saughtered children thrown into ravines

Look over the edge, down below

Notice the small broken bodies under clefts and crags

When the disobedient cry out, as if they didn't know

Let their collections of idols deliver them

From what their eyes behold

Death always wants more

From the hearts of men

So they took, Lord

What You had given them

Your jewels

Your gold

Your silver

Making male images to which they bowed

Offering to demons

Your oil

Your incense

Your bread

But this wasn't enough more blood was to be shed

Their sons and daughters

Borne to You

These should be a parents precious crown

Yet they let them be devoured

Slaughtering Your hearts gift

To gods and fire they praise and lift

So long ago, surely these demons have had their fill

No, they continue to survive

These spiritual forces of wickedness are still alive

Wanting the blood of a child

But man is now much more civilized

No open slabs on mountains high

No crowds dancing as blood flows

Yes civilized, hearts and rooms sterilized

Then a sacrifice begins

Surrendering a child You have given Lord

To the knife of self, made deaf to sin

Millions of times the knife has cut

Or liquid injected to burn

Silent cries in the womb

Or delivered alive, left to die, placed in a closet tomb

Choices to follow life or death

Demons pressing and humans fail the test

The spiritual world, what have they seen?

Down through the ages, blood filled streams?

Do angels weep?

Do demons smile at lies believed?

Is there a lingering stench?

How deep is the stain?

As the curse continues to grow

Help us to fight Lord and overthrow

Is heaven overwhelmed with children's voices that sing

Do they dance and play on the streets of gold

Laughing with the King of Kings?
