sent

speak

YOU

love

YOU

release

~

hold

walk

remove

cast

shut

vomit

advise

discipline

knock

give the Morning Star

 

My heart is so excited reading glimpses of who YOU ARE

YOU OPENED up much to me

Knowing the words I love and need

 

YOU ARE the first, before time and after the end

How awesome,YOU CREATED me

Extending love even in my sin

 

YOU CAME. the Almighty One

YOU ARE here and in ages past

YOU ARE life, YOU WERE dead

And now YOU LIVE forevermore

YOU OWN the keys to death and hell

YOU PAID a great price for me

Looking down through time, seeing when I fell

Knowing YOU I don't fear the door of death

But he keeps knocking, hoping to cause doubt

The door to my heart is sealed with love

Death and hell are kept out

May my love never grow cold

May I continue to hate the evil YOU HATE

Help me to trust, make me bold

 

YOU GRANT to me a taste from the tree of life

Planted in Your paradise

Until then there are choices I must make

YOU KNOW the timpations that fill my thoughts

May I not give in

Be alert, have faith YOU have TAUGHT

 

I need Your help each day

For YOU KNOW where satan is

Give courage to fight whatever he might say

Until YOU TAKE me home

And a crown YOU will Give

Jeweled in red?

A color praising the life blood YOU SHED

 

YOU KNOW when Your church tolerates evil

Lord, YOU EXPOSE darkened hearts

YOU SEARCH and KNOW their intent

I have laid my evil past at Your nail scared feet

My regret and sorrow led me to repent

 

YOU WHISPER what is hidden

By Your blood I overcame, able to receive

Blood that bleaches through

A white stone, a new name known only by me and You

 

YOU ARE my future

When YOU COME again

I'll be where YOU REIGN

Those who overcome will be given authority by You

As YOU REVEAL to the enemy an all consuming Truth

 

I understand that from Jacob a STAR CAME

I must focus on this STAR LIGHTING my way

My name is Linda Jackson. I am a blessed wife, mother and grandmother. I am a Biblical counselor and teacher to women in jail. I also teach kindergarten Sunday school. I enjoy writing, playing in the yard with my plants and doing cross stitch while watching football.
