Garden of Rest

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]--Matthew 11:28 (AMPC)

For he who has once entered [God’s] rest also has ceased from [the weariness and pain] of human labors, just as God rested from those labors peculiarly His own.-- Hebrews 4:10 (AMPC)

 

Let the stillness

soothe your soul

 

the wind

whisper

wondrous things

 

Let the breeze

bring sweetness

 

the gentle touch 

of Him Who loves

 

Peace be still

and know 

that He is God

 

says our gentle

Adonai

our El Shaddai

 

Enter into 

His Garden of rest

 

Let the cool

of the morning

caress

 

Praise the LORD

for a place to hear

the song

of the wind

near

 

Touch the trees
