Let me [as God’s representative] sing of and for my greatly Beloved [God, the Son] a tender song of my Beloved concerning His vineyard [His chosen people]. -- Isaiah 5:1 (AMPC)

 

It's worth it, you see,

the things we go through;

because You have me

because I have You

to share all the fears,

the secrets, our souls'

delights, and the tears

we cry. When the tolls

of this changeling life

are too much to bear

as Husband and wife

we show how we care

by giving our time,

our love, our concern,

and making a rhyme

from sad words. We turn

darkness to gold,

rejoice in true Love;

in prayer our hands fold

reach for rainbows above.
