To Make a Difference

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. -- 2 Corinthians 5:20 (AMPC)

 

How can I make a difference each day,

Through all that I say and do?

How can I share with another Your Love

Make just a small difference for You?

 

How do I make a difference in other lives

By the difference You've made in mine?

How do I serve as Your vessel,

Through which Your pure light may shine?

 

Guide me, dear LORD, and strengthen me,

So I can live Your Holy Word;

And glorify Your peace and joy

Given to all who trust when they've heard.

 

Renew in me Your Spirit, LORD,

Cause Your Light in me to shine;

So the lost may know they too are loved,

That with them You long to dine.

 

Teach me, LORD, the way to go;

Direct the paths of my wayward feet.

Give me wisdom to make a difference, LORD,

In every soul I meet.
