Too weary to even care

I slept, You held me there

You Who never slumber

 

You tore through the thorns

Of my anger and pain

And kissed me gently to life again

 

Amazing Grace!

Through every snare

You've proved Your Love

How much You care

 

My dragon Slayer

My ultimate Hero

You’ve never let go

Wouldn’t let me die

 

But I let go

And I let You

Teach me to laugh

To help me cry

 

Amazing Grace!

Through every snare

You've proved Your Love

How much You care

 

You carried my broken soul

And nursed me back to health

Lovingly cleansed my cross-wired brain

Taught my heart to hope again

  

Favor and mercy unparalleled

Taking me down Your paths of light

To jump, To fly

With new sight and Right
