When I Trust You

O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him.--Psalm 34:8, AMPC

 

When I just trust You…

 

You make it so easy!

I don’t have to strain

I just let You rain

Your sweet Spirit of Grace

On me; I’m free!

I’m free to trust You

I’m free to rest in Your loving care

I’m free to run when you lead me there

To Your arms

You circle around me;

I cannot be lost

I’m covered with Your love;

Only You know the cost

You are my Light and my Love

And my Joy

 

I trust You as much when I’m asleep

As when I’m awake;

I trust You with eternity;

I trust You with today!
