How'd I Get Here From There? Or, The Prince Has Come

Too weary to even care
I slept, You held me
You Who never slumber

You tore through the thorns
Of my anger and pain
And kissed me gently to life again

My dragon Slayer
My ultimate Hero

You’ve never let go
Wouldn’t let me die

But I let go
And let You

To teach me to laugh
To help me cry

You carried my broken soul
And nursed me back to health

Gave me a new mind, fresh breath
Taught my heart to hope again

Amazing Grace!
Through every snare 

You've proved Your love
How much you care

Favor and mercy unparalleled
Taking me down Your paths of light

Urging me to jump
So You can help me fly

I love You LORD

You are my Life

Thank You for getting me
