One Way to Prevent Digestion Disturbance

by Tonja Taylor
7/27/2021 / Health

I could not figure out the reason for the stomach discomfort, greatly increased elimination, and irritable bowel syndrom.  I'm eating all these things that are supposed to help me be very healthy! I thought, a bit frustrated. The LORD commands us to eat good things!

Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Hearken diligently to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness [the profuseness of spiritual joy].--Isaiah 55:2, AMPC

After talking to some experts, I discovered that I was getting too much magnesium. Not only was I eating green foods that contained them, but I was taking daily supplements that had magnesium, and then I had added a few drops a day of trace minerals, which also contained magnesium.

There can be numerous reasons for digestive issues, of course. I am not a medical expert, nor a health professional in any sense.  However, if you are having irritable bowels, more-than-usual elimination, or other distubances of your digestion, you may be taking too much magnesium.

Another thing to bring healing, of course, is to quote the Word of God over yourself, your soul, and your body. That is the main way to be healed in any arena!

He may show you places in life where you need to repent. That can be a key to healing!

21 For even to this were you called [it is inseparable from your vocation]. For Christ also suffered for you, leaving you [His personal] example, so that you should follow in His footsteps. 22 He was guilty of no sin, neither was deceit (guile) ever found on His lips. 23 When He was reviled and insulted, He did not revile or offer insult in return; [when] He was abused and suffered, He made no threats [of vengeance]; but he trusted [Himself and everything] to Him Who judges fairly. 24 He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed.--I Peter 2:21-24, AMPC
