Drip, the precious blood of Christ

drip drip drip
fell the precious
blood of my Saviour
bringing forgiveness 
for my sins

 

drip drip drip
fell the precious
blood of my Saviour
bringing me life
where there was only death

 

drip drip drip
fell the precious
blood of my Saviour
bringing healing 
to my pain and grief

 

drip drip drip
fell the precious 
blood of my Saviour
taking my guilt and shame 
into the deepest sea

 

drip drip drip 
fell the precious
blood of my Saviour
taking my punishment
and making me whole

 

because He died
I will live
because He died
I am cleansed
because He died
I am set free
Because He died
I have the victory

i love getting up early and sitting quietly with the lord and the word before anyone else is up
