PERSONAL PARAPHRASINGS OF GODLY SENTIMENTS

by linzy bruno
4/28/2022 / Church Life

God rewards gratitude with satisfaction, while a lack thereof breeds discontentment.

The body is the vehicle, the soul is the personality and the spirit is who I am.

How can anyone who has not given Jesus their life claim to be a believer?

Be busy with God, not apart from Him!

Bad things do happen to good, believing people, but the promise of God is that He will get us through and we will be even better off than we were before….

Christianity is the most exciting version of life and is life itself! Without Christ, all anyone has to look forward to is the grave!

Every situation is an opportunity for gratitude.

The strength of the soul and spirit; their healthy connection, is more important and valuable than the strength/health of the body.

Physical exercise is not nearly as beneficial and cannot make me as spiritual wellness can.

Spiritual work comes in response to God’s Love and is the exact opposite of legalism.

Once saved always saved is true, (THANKS BE TO GOD), but should never inspire an abuse of God’s Grace.

We cannot see the Lord or hear His audible Voice, but we can all experience the tangible Presence of GOD.

If I clean my house while it’s still clean, I’ll never have a dirty house…..said another way: if I clean my house before it gets dirty, my house will never be dirty!

May the Lord guide me in everything I do including how I should view the concept of independence as a believer in Christ.

I know I need to keep my mind off myself as much as possible; after all, getting over myself is, in essence, what it means to be transformed into a new creation in Christ Jesus.

I need always remember to check my motives to make sure they align with righteousness and with what God would have me do, as well as the reason behind it all.

The lower people are willing to stoop, the louder their cry for help

There is a subtle but real difference between being carried away with emotions and carried away by the spirit; high on Jesus!

The fear of the Lord keeps us….

New Agers beliefs can stem from a lacking foundation in Christ; they make up their own version of who He is.

Believers in Christ can walk through fire without getting burned or end up smelling like smoke…..

People may die due to accidents, but no one ever dies by accident…
