16 Prayers for the USA From Proverbs 28!

And He taught and said to them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations? But you have turned it into a den of robbers.--Mark 11:17, AMPC

If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.--II Chronicles 7:14, AMPC

I often read a proverb (according to the day of the month, and more), and when I read Proverbs 28 today, the LORD revealed to me that there were 20 Scriptures I could turn into prayers for the nation!

So what I'm going to do is take these and make them "personal," which I learned to do from a minister at least 15 years ago. The Bible is for the world--yet the LORD speaks to each of us uniquely through His Word.

My habit is to focus, overall, on the positive parts of the Word. God is a positive God (Praise Him!), so I believe that's what He wants us to focus on--the positivity, the victory, the overcoming Grace He gives!

It is a our own personal Bible; our own personal Love Letter from the Most High God, our Daddy--from the moment we truly receive His Son, Jesus, and His blood shed on the cross for us over 2,000 years ago, to forgive and cleanse us of our sins. Hallelujah!

Father, we come before Your Throne of Grace, and find Mercy and Grace to help the USA, for this is a time of great need! We know that, as goes the USA, so goes most of the world. Many other nations are depending on the USA to be righteous, and we praise You for the prayers of the saints in other nations for our beloved USA!

Thank You, LORD, as verse 1 says, we Your Church, the Body of Christ, stand up for truth in this nation. We “[uncompromisingly] righteous are bold as a lion.”

Thank You, LORD, although the USA is a land that has transgressed, we ask You to give us "rulers that are people of discernment, understanding, and knowledge, its stability will long continue."

LORD, please forgive our country—from the Church to the government, where we have “forsaken the law [of God and man]” and thus unfortunately “praise the wicked”, but we—true Believers—"who keep the law [of God and man] contend with them.”

Father, there are many in this country who are “evil men who do not understand justice,” but we Believers who crave and seek the Lord understand it fully.

We true Believers in Christ who “keep the law [of God and man] are wise sons and daughters…”

Anyone in the USA who "turns away his ear from hearing the law [of God and man], even his prayer is an abomination, hateful and revolting [to God], so LORD, help us to seek and hear Your Voice, for the prayers of us the righteous are pleasing to You!"

Forgive the leaders and other influencers of this country who "leads the upright astray into an evil way," for "he will himself fall into his own pit." Praise You, LORD, that You tell us that we, "the blameless (by our faith in the shed blood of Jesus on the cross alone!) will have a goodly inheritance." Hallelujah!

We praise You, LORD, that You says that, when we "the [uncompromisingly] righteous triumph, there is great glory and celebration!" We know that, "when the wicked rise [to power], men hide themselves," but we ask for and receive and thank You that You are replacing the wicked rulers with the righteous ones. Hallelujah!

LORD, as You say, those "who covers his transgressions will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes his sins will obtain mercy." We ask that You convict the leaders of this nation, and in the Church, and bring them to repentance, so they may be free, and Righteousness will reign freely in this, Your nation, the United States of America!

As You say, LORD, "Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) is the man who reverently and worshipfully fears [the Lord] at all times [regardless of circumstances], but have mercy and convict and deliver the ones "who hardens his heart," so they won't "fall into calamity."

LORD, You say, "like a roaring lion or a ravenous and charging bear is a wicked ruler over a poor people," and the people of this nation have been poor spiritually--not following You. Please forgive us and restore this nation to the God-honoring principles that it wasa founded on! We decree by faith that the latter glory of the United States of America will be much greater than the former! We praise You that You are causing the righteous in this nation to rise up and overcome the evil one, for far greater are You, Jesus Christ the LORD of all, in us and for us, and with us, amen!

LORD, You say that "A ruler who lacks understanding is [like a wicked one] a great oppressor, but he who hates covetousness and unjust gain shall prolong his days." We ask that You replace those oppressive rulers in our country's government with those that are righteous.

Father, we ask that You expose the darkness and overturn the shedding of innocent blood in this nation, for You say, "If a man willfully sheds the blood of a person [and keeps the guilt of murder upon his conscience], he is fleeing to the pit (the grave) and hastening to his own destruction; let no man stop him!" We praise and thank You that You are moving upon hearts and making changes in this nation, and causing people to recognize and respect and protect the sanctity of life, for You are the Author of Life (Acts 3:15)!

Thank You, LORD, for righteous, uncompromising, God-fearing leaders of the USA, "who rebukes a man (and) shall afterward find more favor than he who flatters with the tongue."

LORD, we know that those leaders and other influencers of the USA "who leans on, trusts in, and is confident of his own mind and heart is a [self-confident] fool," but we Your people "who walks in skillful and godly Wisdom shall be delivered." You are Jehovah Nissi, our Deliverer, and we praise You that You are delivering us Your Church, Your people, out of the hand of the enemies of this nation!

Father, it is not Your will for any to perish, and You say that, "When the wicked rise [to power], men hide themselves; but when they perish, the [consistently] righteous increase and become many." We know that You are Life, and You gave Jesus, Your perfect Son, to die on the cross for all, that none would die (John 3:15-17). We do not wish for the wicked to die, but rather to be born again to new life in Christ, and to be quickly and completely taken out of power in the USA, so that the seats of rule may be filled with the righteous ones Who will honor Your Name and Word in every way.

We know that, as You tell us in I John 5:14-15, when we pray in Your will, You hear us, and thus we have what we ask, so we thank and praise You that You hear and are answering us! In Jesus' Name, we receive the replacing of the wicked with the righteous in the United States of America--Your country!

Hallelujah, we praise Your glorious Name forever!
