When Gods Children Cry Out
by Faith Jansky
12/08/2022 / Poetry
Down through the ages of time,
God’s children have faced many hard things.
Things far beyond their control;
Yet this, their testimony, still rings:
We cried to the Lord, and He heard!
There is nothing too hard for Him!
We cried, and He answered our prayer!
To our God, be all glory giv’n.
When things seem impossible;
When we have a need, we cannot meet;
We can cry to our Father,
And lay it all down, before His feet.
God loves when His own cry out,
Asking, and trusting Him for their needs!
When they will cry out to Him,
He delights to hear, and gives quick heed.
Fear not to cry out to God;
To call on Him, whatever it be.
Let Him work, as He sees best,
And His goodness you will surely see!
2 Samuel 22:7
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and He did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
Psalm 34:6
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
