Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.--Matthew 11:28-30, NLT

I’ll live the wild adventures

That lie waiting on my shelves,

I’ll find the hidden strengths

We all search for in ourselves.

I’ll relax a little bit

About my salt, sugar intake

I’ll not count the non-important

Daily errors that I make.

I’ll be kinder to my neighbor,

Helpful to my fellow man,

I’ll visit friends and loved ones

Not just “one day when I can”.

I’ll see the sunshine through the rain

Cherish the good, throw out the bad,

And remember to be thankful

For the blessed life I’ve had.
