JESUS IS STILL MY EMT!: The Poem

Oh, what a relief for my reeling mind!

I think the sky was still a dark gray;

opening my eyes;

shocked and amazed

to find myself

alive in a new day!

 

 

So hard was it to believe

why I did not die,

since my dear mother

was told the wrong things to do;

a fever high enough

to take my young life;

bundling me up,

while I fought a dreaded flu!

 

 

But days later a wondrous moment;

Jesus revealed His healing!

In relief I did find great bliss,

my torturous illusions ceased,

Hallelujah!

How I reminisce!

 

 

For the light of the Lord

broke apart gray darkness

for He Appeared,

that my weary eyes could be told.

And to this day

He is still healing

most every big or small alignment,

just as trouble begins to unfold!

 

 

And in all my many years,

it's always Jesus Who heals me!

Although,

He no longer Appears;

safely abiding in

Heaven’s Divine Aide,

I am

in His Arms

without fear!

 

 NOTE: I HAVE A PART 1 TO THIS POEM STORY, IN NON-FICTION FORMAT CALLED: "JESUS IS MY EMT!"  (HAPPENED AROUND AGE 8 AND A HALF).
