All of Us Have a Part to Play

For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? - Esther 4:14, KJV

The strings have been broken on one of my piano keys for several days now, but the piano tuner and I have had conflicting schedules. He will be able to repair the strings soon, I trust.

I have a medley of songs that I've memorized to entertain others "on the spot," and although I practice almost every day, when I hit that key and it doesn't work, I wince.

In appearance, it differs only from the others in its location on the ieyboard, but when played, it has a unique part to fulfill. That key, the C below Middle C, is a major one. It plays a big part in most of the songs I know, including hymns, where it seems to be most sorely missed, because although it's only one key; although the others may sound bright, and distinctly sweet, none of the others can bring forth exactly the sound that one does. 

None of them can make up for the loss of the other.

So too, does God, the Creator of all life, have a unique part for each of us to play in His Great Plan. Though we may discount our roles, God knows what He's put into each of us; what we can accomplish, with His help and Grace.

As each of us does his or her part, there will come forth a supernatural sound; a sublime symphony that will change the atmosphere where we are to draw others to Christ. 

May the LORD help us all to seek Him, hear and obey His Voice, and know that it is an amazing honor to be chosen by The Most High God to partner with Him to get His work done in the earth!

Also, the more that we obey, and the more of us that obey, the faster we can all get out of here and go Home to Heaven! Hallelujah!
