BLAMELESS: The Poem

The sphere of my conviction

extends far, wide and long;

enchantingly, it sits upon my shoulders;

bringing joy hereto my song.

 

For the love of my Lord

doth show me

the truth of trials, and the light,

which prompts my heart’s condition

to sail miles above my plight.

 

For to be continually holy;

striving to never offend my King,

I crave purely be prevalent

in my every looming little thing.

 

I want it,

not like anything I could

ever get from any store;

no, I just wanna be blameless,

no material thing could ever satisfy me more!

 

For to be blameless is to live above

what is acceptable in every man’s sight,

for without God

man cannot attain beyond  

every human’s terrestrial fight.

 

For to stumble and to waiver

is the downward plight

in secular land,

but to rise amidst the waters

is to climb upward beyond the sands.

 

Hence, to be continually holy;

striving to never offend my King,

I crave purely be prevalent

in my every looming little thing!

 

“And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.” (Luke 1:6, nkjv)
