Deceit Of The Elect

[24]For false Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect._
[25]See, I have told you beforehand." Matthew 24-25.

Deceit has come to stay with mankind and cannot be done away with because we are in the last minutes before the coming of the Lord Jesus to take His Saints away with Him to be where He is.

Deceit has become more pronounced these days than ever before. You can find it everywhere. Satan knows fully well that he has a short time left to commit his remaining atrocities. He is preoccupied with deceiving people into populating his kingdom.

Do you know that this has been his major instrument since the days of the first couple in the Garden of Eden? It was Mother Eve who made the first declaration about this heinous device because she was the first victim. Genesis 3 discloses
"[13]And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

May we not be victims of Satan's deceit in the name of Jesus Christ.

Beloved, do you know that the Lord Jesus Christ, in giving His disciples the catalog of events that will precede His coming to take His Saints away (rapture), left a strong warning in Matthew 24:4,
“Take heed that no one deceives you."

It means that the Elects should be very careful of falling victim to deceit. This is because anyone can fall victim to this device.

Apostle Paul presents it this way in 2 Corinthians 2
"[11]lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices. Triumph in Christ"

So long he knows that the Elects are not in the dark about his devices, among which is deceit, he has wittingly taken the battle to the altar by raising false Prophets and false Christs to show great signs and wonders to confuse the Elects to believe them, Matthew 24:24. They are fake that seriously resemble the original. Jesus has warned us in verse 25. Our triumph is only in Christ. The Spirit of Christ can reveal the ?ecrets of these false representatives. It now rests on the Elects to obey Him to avoid being a victim of deceit. May every Elect of the Lord triumph in Him in the name of Jesus Christ. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
