Arguments

In life generally, everyone has his opinion on every matter or issue. Most of the time, opinions on the same subject differ. Many times, the information available, its quality, and quantity, influence each person's opinion.

This makes it very difficult to win an argument. That is the reason, instead of winning an argument, each person holds on tightly to his opinion at the end.

Then, what is the better option? Reasoning together!

The Lord gives an example for His people to follow. This better choice has always produced the right and desired result. What can this be? Winning others to get the reasons for having a different and possibly better option.

Let us consider the words of God as contained in the book of Isaiah Chapter one and in verse eighteen,
“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Isaiah 1:18.

This points to the truth that reasoning together brings about agreement instead of argument that brings positive and valuable changes.

Sadly, many of God's people today are more occupied with arguments with each other on so many good, sound, and frivolous doctrines. They are occupied with coming up with new doctrines that generate more arguments. This has given the sole enemies of mankind, Satan, an ample chance to win or confuse the Saints into his kingdom. This ought not to be so.

What next? The next and best thing is to extinguish every fire of needless and useless arguments that never achieve any good result for the good of the Kingdom of God.

Not only this, but the final instructions of Jesus Christ should begin afresh. What is this?
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:19-20.

Beloved, begin this work again, and may the Lord be with you, as He promised, in the name of Jesus Christ. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
